I discovered art at a young age when my parents offered to send me to private lessons, and I gladly agreed. From then on, I chose art whenever the opportunity arose- whether it be at school or at home.

Currently, my pieces can be seen at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center where I was the official Wildflower Artist of 2004. At this time, I am a faculty member of the Lifetime Learning Institute of Austin. My media of choice are acrylic and watercolor with a growing interest in collage.

I have studied with Simon Michael of Rockport, Texas. Mr. Michael was artist in residence at Bee County College in Beeville, Texas. I also have attended workshops with other instructors in New Mexico, Italy, and Spain.

My work has been accepted into numerous juried shows and received countless awards. It is also worth mentioning that my artwork is part of several private collections stretching from Texas to Japan.

While living in South Texas, my work was exhibited at The Fine Art Showroom and Gallery East/Gazebo Gallery. In addition, Victoria Bank & Trust and First National Bank of Victoria were sites of several one-woman shows. Corpus Christi Public Library was another site for a solo show. In Victoria, I taught both children and adult art classes.
